  • Rear Window Hatch Rubber Seal and installation

Anyone know where to get a new one? Also, Any special tricks to installing the darn glass??? I have tried the old method with a nylon cord in the window seal but all that did was tear up the perfectly good seal that I was resuing. Anyhow, your thoughts and tips would be greatly appreciated and a source for these will also be appreciated

use the rope in technique, just pull the rope at a 90 all the way around the window. i don't see how you can tear that seal, it's got to be the easiest backgloass to put in

Make sure you lube the seal with something. I use dish soap.

Lol, I thought so too. I think the seal was just brittle in some areas. I have put many windows in so I was surprised when the rope chewed the seal
