  • Smoke on startup & valve seals

Am I correct in saying that the valve seals are probably the culprit when there's a puff of bluish-gray smoke on startup?

    Thanks

Usually. Sometimes just a PCV valve will do it too.

They could just be dirty, shrank, and hardened. Try www.auto-rx.com first before replacing them. As long as they aren't physically damaged it should help.
