Festiva Aspire alternator swap

Since the belts and pulleys are different, would an aspire alternator still work on a festiva? Or are the belts so different that the pulley doesnt line up at all and will not have enough traction to turn the alternator? Any help would be appreciated. Also any suggestions as to which belt to use when using an aspire alternator on a festiva would help as well.

Does anyone have any experience doing this? Since the Aspire has a serpintine belt, would the pulley for the alternator work with the festiva belt?

No you would need o change the pulley. Do the plugs even look the same?
