    90 (323) lx b8me...

well yesterday the car died on me.... i thought it was the fuel pump until i noticed i had no electrical.... well turns out it was the main 80 amp fuse under the hood.... well after swaping it out and driving around it went again.... looking for answers why??

I noticed that it start to stutter and the electrical components aka: stereo and satilite radio stop then flicker back on in a few seconds.... the car also sputters and starts to die then come back when im out of the corner...

i did fill up yesterday and put in fuel injector cleaner... which i dont know when it was done last....??? anyhelp?

It sounds like a short is overloading it, thats probably why the radio is stuttering before it blows. I would check the alternators wires first.

there is a wire that he the previous owner ran to the alternator from the batt.. but i dont get why it only happends when in turn corners.... also some times its studders and then comes back on and works no problems till the next corner... its when i corner really hard the fuse blows...

I think you've solved your problem. The battery is the heaviest item in the ignition system so the most likely to shift and short in a corner. (A loose alternator would cease to charge.) Jam a blanket or something non-condictive around the battery to keep it fom moving and see if the problem goes away. Then look for the short when it shifts.

i have a 1990 maza wiring book at home that i found in a junkyard. as to the car itself we have a 1990 or 91 mazda 323 with a b6 in it and had no problems as you described and we had it for yearsand this is what i would do . have the engine running and shake all of the wires you can find and see if one would make it do as you had described then you have found the problem area. i recently found a problem that i was tracking down for years by accidently dropping a wrench on some wires under the hood and the car ran better and all it was was a loose plug end. as someone stated here before work with the simplist and cheepest first and work your way up.

do a ford factory "wiggle test" look for sharp edges near wires any worn spots or rubbed sheathing its definately a short most likely to ground, also check your engine and chassis ground make sure their tight and corrosion free.

I dont think its your battery. Your radio.. and lights.. should all work fine without your battery. I think its a alternator connection. Take your altertor out... and yrou battery while yoru at it.. and go to autozone.. or... wherever your parts store is and get them checked. Your alternator could just be going... I had a diod go in mine.. and it was only puttin enogh power out to run the engine..... lights.. wipers... just drained it to much.
