93 Blowing oil

I changed the valve cover gasket last spring & everything was fine up til recently, now it's blowing oil out the top of the engine somewhere & getting all over the top of the valve cover, along with going into the air intake hose. Any ideas? Thanks.

stuck PCV valve = pressure building up in the engine.
I had this happen to my escort and it took me weeks to figure it out. The PCV was freezing and when pressure built up the dipstick was popping up and oil was spraying everywhere.

does it burn oil? if so, it could be excess blow-by from worn rings

Thanks guys, I bought a new one & it seems to have stopped at least blowing out on top of the engine. I had just changed it last summer & had only put like 5K on it, but it was from Advance Auto & I've been getting to wonder about them anyway. Would that have been causing oil to get into the intake tube as well?
