Never found a difference with any plugs - although I seem to recall reading that spending extra money on the extra-electrode plugs was a waste.

I default to AC Delcos and Autolites - like the other posters, I generally grab whatever is handy every 25,000 miles.

v-powers are 2.35 a plug...that's dirt cheap. I'd use champion or autolite in my lawn mower maybe....

I stopped buying spark plugs a long time ago. Aren't modern ones supposed to last the life of the engine? A couple of times a year I take them out and wipe them off and check the gap. Mostly I'm just looking for deposits which might indicate a problem. At the same time I wipe off the ignition wires (for which I do have the ones with the lifetime guarrantee only because I might ruin them while working on the engine), and wipe off the distributor cap. Last time I went overboard and took the ignition coil bracket off the fender and wiped the coil off too. From time to time I hook up a hand held vacuum guage to see if the needle is vibrating indicating a miss and a need for another cleaning. Right now the needle is rock steady.

^^^^ Yep.. .ditto, except I HAVE worn out modern plugs.. with a LOT of miles..

I usually sand blast mine in my little plug cleaner dealie

Never found any difference between ANY decent plug. High priced metal tipped plugs are a scam, good old Autolites, Champions, Bosch, NGK, all good. Splitfires SUCK...

not much diff in plugs, i was running ngk's and a freind gave me a set of $8.00 a piece zex sparkplugs, I didnt notice much, better off spending the money on a cheap high power coil from summit or msd box.

                    Gimmick plugs are just gimmicks.

I use the autolite coppers. Why? Because they're cheap and I can change my plugs in 10 minutes on this car! Copper performs the best anyways, they just don't last as long.

On my other vehicles I use autolite double plats for longer life.

I've never heard anything good about Bosch +4.
