    I've got the same problem as you on my BP festiva. I can't figure what is the problem but I will try the thing that you are talking to do.

    BPT, G5M-R, BP26 Exintake swap + Fidanza cam gear, NSRT4 FMIC + 2.5" piping, HKS SSQV BOV, Exedy clutch, 3" downpipe + 2" all the way back, Aspire brake swap, KYB GR-2 & FMS coil spring , FMS EURO body kit + Carbon fiber hood, Falcon RTX 15X6½ + Toyo proxes T1R 195/45R15

      Ok, so we replaced the distributor, large coolant sensor thing on the back of the intake manifold, TPS, ignition coil, and this small metal vacuum operated thing connected to the fuel line, and the car runs fine now. I don't know which part was bad, but replacing everything that could make it stumble seemed to have worked.
