fronts are still obtainable but rears seem obsolete. there is a mazda bushing for the mx-3 that is similar to the rear and has the metal sleeve built in. i will let you know
So, just to make sure i'm thinking about the correct thing; is this the area right underneath the core support/radiator where the trans support meets?
Mine is rusted there as well; probably from living in Pittsburgh most of it's life, but here in SoCal, the rust isn't getting any worse. However, is it dangerous to drive it that way? Is the engine/trans in danger of falling out of the car?
If it has boobs or wheels, sooner or later you're going to have trouble with it.

Yes that is where mine is. It is actually broken and resting on the anti-sway bar. I don't think my engine/trans is going to fall out because there are other mounts but it's definitely not a good thing. Unfortunately I'm not really a welder so I'm not sure yet how I'm going to fix this.
