        ok new info guys.
i got a fuel pressure tester. i connected it in-between the filter and the rail. When i jump the test connector i get 40psi. Aswell, when i crank the engine i get 40 psi. The only strange thing im noticing, is when i turn the key on, the pump dose not run. I remember it would run for a few seconds before. Even after it died on me, i remember listening for it and i could hear it. Since then ive just replaced the fuel filter... and ive had the battery disconnected.

IIRC, believe fuel pump will not pumping until you crank it and if engine runs ok then fuel pump will keep pumping.
Have you test all fuel injectors? It sprays out the nozzle?

            Ok.
I have not removed the injectors yet. I was going to try check that there getting signal first.
Also, I pulled out the 1st plug and it was dry and i didnt smell gas. (this was after cranking on it abit)

Humm, Then you don't hear the fuel injectors clinks? Probably no live voltage to the fuel injectors?

I think fuel injectors don't make loud clinking but you should hear it when your ear is at near of fuel injectors. Or sometime maybe you can feel it by your finger by touch them. I'd recommend check your fuel injector sockets for any living voltage at around 12.5V. When you try crank up your engine, the fuel injectors should start clinking sound.

ok, ive got everything apart. the fuel rail looks ok. no gunk or anything in it.
ive sprayed the injectors with carb cleaner. now i just want to give them voltage so i can spray through them. (and test if they open/close properly)

how exactly do you check if the injectors are getting signal? should they just be getting a pulse of +12 when i crank? or do they get a constant hot and a switched ground? or so on. i cant even find anything in the factory manual

Try using these four of 12V lamp with long leg leads and pin in the fuel injector's socket and see if all lights do blinks when you crank it the engine.

See picture below, you could get these from radio shack store and be sure its 12 Volt type one.

Just a thought might be very helpful for you.

ok, so you can use any regular 12v light to test for the signal? cool, if it dosent run after i get the injectors back in ill give it a try.

Basically you can use any type 12V lamp and be sure it able to test easy with fuel injector sockets. Like a thin wire to pin it easy. If four lamp don't give you a flashing when you crank it the engine then something wrong with wiring or else than itself fuel injectors.

ok. question, when the injectors spray should it be a solid jet or a mist?
Ive got the rail off the car and im filling it with seafoam and pressurizing it with a hand pump. Some of the injectors make a solid jet and others mist.

It should be the spray, not the the solid jet. The fuel injectors are supposed to atomize the fuel so your engine can burn it efficiently.
I have had great service from http://www.witchhunter.com/ They have cleaned 3 sets of injectors for me so far, and they are great. Mattswab has also used them. One of my festivas wouldnt run because one of the injectors was stuck shut. This will also help your mpg. If your spray patterns are off, and not balanced your engine wont run as smoothly either. Yeah you can clean them at home, but it won't compare to the results that they will get you. Just my .02 Hope this helps

^I agree with him, I'd recommend your fuel injectors get cleaned by professional company they can ensure all fuel injectors are flowing equal and not screwed up. too much solid jetting kinda of gas wastes and make your MPG look like crappy. Too much misty can cause too much lean gas.

Or other ways you can buy new fuel injectors that know works good if good deal.
