Does anyone know the proper initial setting for the Festiva carburetor. I'm sure it needs readjustment, and I just want to start from the beginning. A picture diagram will help quite a bit.

This may be of some help, it says its from a toyota, but about the same carb we use.

these specs are from the Haynes manual...
choke unloader: 1/16 to 5/64 inch or 1.55 to 2.06 mm
choke breaker: 1/16 to 3/32 inch or 1.73 to 2.24 mm
throttle opening: 0.009 to 0.014 inch or 0.25 to 0.36 mm
(double checked)
The manual covers adjustments to fast idle speed, choke unloader, and choke braker but they are too long to type in.Original owner of silver grey carburetted 1989 Festiva. 105k km as of June 2006. 140k km as of June 2021.Comment
