  • Headlights and head gaskets

    A couple of questions..

Under ideal circumstances how quickly can a B6 head gasket be changed with the engine in the car? I know... I should have done it before I did the swap ops:

I had a headlight bulb explode inside the headlight and now it's all cloudy. Is there a way to clean it?

    Thanks

i've taken a head off of a festiva within an hour, thats with no bolts seized, everything going smooth

so if you know what your doing, i would say total time roughly 4 hours of none stop working on it without problems

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I would remove the headlight and try to rinse it out, maybe get a bottle brush and clean it. The headgasket like Damkid says. It basically the same as a B3 headgasket.
