Use of Mobile 1 in the Transmission

I have searched the site and found a few discussions about using synthetic lube in the trans. I live in a very rural area and only have local access to Mobile 1. Has anyone ever used mobile 1 in their trans and was it a wise choice?

I have two 1988 festivas, one with 205,000 and one withe 75,000 and I would like to use mobile 1 in the trans.

Shouldn't be a problem.

You know....many companies do deliver.

Even though I'm an AMSOIL dealer the next time I have to change mine I'm using MTFGlide by http://specialtyformulations.com/

I'd suggest the MTFGlide as well, unless it's an automatic, in which case I'd use the AutoGlide. I've got 4 gallons of the Autoglide for the Impala. Trying to decide whether to put the extra 2 quarts in the power steering or in the Festy's trans.

I always forget there are a few automatic transmissions out there.
