  • Front Struts? Aspire & Festiva Same?

I'm needing to source a front spring for our Mazda 121 DB.

From what I've read on here the coil spring for front strut of the Aspire & Festiva are the same part?

I'm just wondering is anybody can tell me if the struts are the same (it looks like the Festiva part is shorter acccording to the Monroe replacement specs)

If the Festiva strut assembly is shorter......will it:

    A: Fit?
    B: Work?

Or should I just use the springs from the Festiva strut... :?:

It will cost me $9 for each spring and $18 for the complete Strut/Spring assembly so naturally if I can use the struts I'd be better off doing that I assume?

the aspire suspention is designed for a heavier car than the festiva . . . the are both matching designs though just diferent weights . . . not too familiar with 121's but I would go with the festiva set up unless your wantin a more preformance feel than go with the aspire.

          Cheers for that

It's just to get the car through the inspection - as long as the parts fit I'll be happy with that really.

Th 121DB is basically a sedan/saloon version of the Aspire but with a 16v FI variant of the B3 engine.
