The secondary on my carb is not opening up. Any ideas?

it takes a while as the secondary is vacuum actuated and you can't hold the throtle open long enough by hand to see it opperate. try this: get rolling in second gear at light throtle, then punch and hold it after about a second, you should feel a surge of "power" as the secondary kicks in. (car must be warm and roll at about 20 mph).Trees aren't kind to me...
