valve adjusting

i recently had my head worked on in my 88 and they loosended up the bolts that hold the valve timing thingys lol in place, do i just tighten them back down or do i need to make some adjustments before thanks

get the Haynes book and check under valve adjustment.

i believe there at 14ft lbs but don't quote me on that...
