  • windows seals and track... hard as a rock

I was wondering if any one knows a trick to try to ease up the window tracks and seals. My track and seals are hard as a rock, which means u gotta b built like a rock to roll the friggin window up. I rebuilt the regulator and i know that isn;t the problem. I know the seals being hard is the issue. So does any one know of a way to soften the seals up? And replacing them isn;t really top on my list! Thanks guys!

Try some spray silicone in all the tracks. I did this on mine and it made a huge difference. Did you check the main track itself to see if it was bent or binding?

    Hope that helps

yeah i did this to darpiens car yesterday and the shit is smooth as brand new now!

only prob is it still "shifts" and can bind up in hte track, so i have to move it back and forth once to get it all the way up.
