  • Will a 95 Aspire short block work in a 88-93 Festiva

    I would like to know if a 95 Aspire Block will bolt into a 88-93 Festiva

    Can I use the Festiva head and trans with the Aspire block.
    The wife and I are attending this meet. Come convoy with us.Come to the 1st annual "Sunshine Meet" March 20th 2010. Details in the thread below.

    engine is the exact same match up so should be a direct bolt... not sure how much good it would do, though?

      Festivas crank pulley won't work.
      aspire pulley causes problems with A.C. and alternator.

        Crank nose is a little different diameter, found that out on mine when I bought the seal. I told the parts guy their all the same then went back to get the right one.
