  • Rear lower shock bolts

What is the best way to remove rear lower shock bolts when the bolt is frozen in the shock? Sawzall the only way? What a PITA! Trying to do Aspire swap.

If your swapping the rear Aspire axle go ahead and cut the bolts with a sawzall. If you were trying to save them it woul be different.

I cut 'em on the Aspire axle, I guess I'm just being cheap and don't want to replace the shocks. I know I'll demolish them getting them off the Festivas axle. I'll just bite the bullet. Thanks anyway.

Use anti seize on the new bolts. They stick to the sleeve in the bottom of the strut so be sure to lube up that surface.
