I believe there is a slight performance gain with the mechanical adjusters, is there not? are the aspire lash adjustor's hydro or mechanical? It seems to me that the best performance setup would be aspire arms and mechanical adjusters, but this is not possible AFAIK. So would next best be mechanical adjusters or aspire roller arms, as far as performance goes?

I'm looking for better fuel mileage right now. The carburetor seems to be loosing the battle. Soon i'll be rockin the turbo engine, and complaining about fuel mileage once again.

I have an '89 Festy with a '94 aspire engine in it. I put the '89s cam in it (fuel pump lobe), and it runs pretty good but you can tell it's just not quite right. If I were to put an aspire cam back in, how do I use an electric fuel pump when the mechanical one has that extra fuel return line or whatever it is? Can you just put it by the fuel filter and still run the fuel through the mechanical pump even though it doesn't work? I wish I could get a fuel pump cam lobe ground into the Aspire cam.
