  • Kia Pride headlights on Mazda 121 hatchbak?

    Hi everybody,

I need a left headlight for my 121 hatchback, but cannot find any locally, I can find KIA Pride ones though. are there any problems with mounting one instead of the other [excluding the ugly asymmetry since the inboard side looks different]?

Are the mounting points the same?

      Malta (GC), Europe.

Unfortunately shipping stuff to Malta is not the easiest and fastest thing I can think of. I am actually considering replacing left and right headlamps at the same time to keep the car symmetric and maybe re-saleable. Should cost me no more than 70$ each side (I hope) for new lamps. What do you think?

I have put both Pride and 121 lights in my Festivas and the mounting holes lined up OK. You should get the whole Pride front end if possible. Then I would buy the 121 grill and parts from you!

I've finally found an original Mazda light locally! Wohoo!
It's great to have my car road-legal again hehe.

I'll be re-building the grill with glass fiber shortly, and dab some paint on my poor mazda's bodywork.

Like everyone else said, Don't cut the grill!!! lol j/k. I think if you are going to cut the grill do like you mentioned and grab another headlight so its cut even on both sides rather than just cutting one side. It will help with resale and I think you will also be more happy with the results.
