    Hello everybody,
I have an '89 Ford Festiva and it has a few problems. 1.The engine is kinda loud;is it supposed to be like that? 2.The fuel gauge doesn't work. 3.The horn doesn't work. 4.I hear a strange rumbling sound that comes from under the
car when I turn left or right.
Little help here? How do I fix these things?I'm totally clueless about cars.
    Thanx,
    N.Y.
    Hello Festiva people!

1.) No. Check your muffler and exhaust line.
2.) Check the fuse box, then connection to the fuel sending unit (under the back seat) and the connector on the instrument cluster. If there's nothing visibly wrong you either have a defective gas gauge or fuel sending unit
3.) Check the fuse box, then the horn, the horn button, and the connections. If there's nothing obviously wrong then you have a defective horn or horn button.
4.) Your CV joints are worn out. They need to be replaced.

    Regards,

    Tim
