Can/will someone assist me in identifying the plug to ground for checking timing? The manual just says it's a single plug near the brake booster; my '90 has '3' single plugs, one double "T", and 2 triples.

I just checked and I have a black, single female plug that's yellow and green; I also have a white, single, female plug that's yellow and green; also, the hot wire to the coil is yellow and green. I'm assuming the BLACK is the ground that I'm looking for. When I ground the wire, how will I know it's the correct one? Will the engine idle change?1990 L-Plus, 5-spd, Flamed Festiva.

Originally posted by Dave GI don't remember which wire, but I DO remember that it needs to be grounded BEFORE you start the engine for the test. If you ground it while the engine is already running, it has no effect.Joe Lutz
