I read in here somewhere that tie rod ends from an Escort are the same as Aspire tie rod ends. I've looked at them and they look different. Does anyone know which other tie rod ends will fit an Aspire? Doing Aspire swap and trying to save some money.

Right on, Im interested myself. The tie rod ends for an Escort are about 1/2 the price as they are for my Aspire...I would like to know if they are interchangeable.
JoeyAs he was perfectly drifting past the apex I looked at Quasimofo and yelled "You know, I have never been in a rollover accident before!"... I think it all went pretty well after that.

how are the escort tie rod ends working? Did you have to do an aspire swap, or do they work right on the festy setup?Contact me for information about Festiva Madness!

i have tie rods from a 323 on my aspire swap
1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor
1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)
If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I have 95 escort ends on my swap, aspire ends were like $40, i got the escort ends for $10... fits up perfectly. I even saw some escort ends with grease fittings, i wish i would have got those. next time.
the length of the sleeve that spins onto the inner tierod end will be different, but i had rod ends from two different aspires and they were different from each other, had festiva ends that were different, and i bought two kinds of escort ends: once again different. Conclusion: The length of that inner sleeve doesn't matter much as long as its withing .5" or so.~Nate

You mean in the arm coming off the hub?
The taper was identical for escort/aspire, as you probably know aspire/festiva taper is different.~Nate
