I found this nice Kenmore radio at a garage sale and am trying to hook it up. The old radio has one wire for each speaker, the new one has two and according to the instructions one is positive and the other is negative. Which one shoul dI use? I figure my stock speakers are grounded to the chassis so I should hook up the positive wire from the radio to the speaker. Is that correct? Thanks.

You would want to hook the speaker wires from the radio to the positive on the speakers. The negative of the speakers will need to be grounded to the chassis.

Thanks, Zoe. I also found the audio forum on this group which has some (conflicting) info about the wiring, maybe differs among years. I'll persue the subject further in that forum.
