I am looking to purchase a 1990 Festiva for 650 dollars it's a decent looking car but needs engine mounts. How hard of a job is it to replace them? As I've never done it.

Not hard as I remember. Is it a auto trans. those trans mounts are very hard to find. -
From what I've read you just have to put a jack under the engine and lift it a bit to take the weight off. Try searching this forum, see top right of screen, as I've seen people post about it before. Also the Haynes manual is very good at describing these things.
