    i am in the middle of honing my 93 egt and it says to use honing oil and i dont have that so can you use regular motor oil? (10w30) please respond as fast as possable!!! time is money!!! lol :lol:

    i'd use PB Blaster myself, the key to cutting oil is it has to be thin and resist heat fairly well, so anything that fits that description will work.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

    currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
    94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

        WD40....kerosene...30W-ND...Dextron...water...salad dressing...will all work well.
        The 'lube' can be anything...it's purpose...to keep the stones from getting clogged.
