  • Festiva Ignition Help

Long story short, my Festiva's ignition wires have been cut from directly behind the cylinder and it was hot wired. Does anyone know if I can easily replace those wires, as in is it just a wiring harness or am I forced to manually rewire a new ignition in the car? Additionally, has any one had any luck with finding a new ignition? I'm in need of everything from where the wires connect to where the key is inserted. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

The ignition is on a short harness so as long as it was cut on the ignition side of the plug you can replace it by plugging in a new one. If they left enough wire between the switch and the cut you could also splice it back together and not have to replace anything. I haven't ever seen new ones available but you should be able to find a good used one on here .
