Working on my 1996 ford aspire with a manual transmission. The old alternator tested bad. Checked all connections with volt meter. But this is were it gets weird my batt light or charge batt light on the dash doesnt light up no matter even when just turning the keey to run with or without engine on it never lights up we already switched bulbs in the cluster and still nothing any help would be appreciated.
