  • Ignition switch, steering column lock

    Hello all,

What's the easiest way to remove the steering column lock on a Festiva, preferably without power tools

I've got the steering wheel off along with all the covers and the wiper/headlight switch. I'm going to be heading to Pick n Pull to get a set of locks, there's a couple of Festiva's there right now with keys in them.

    Thanks in advance.

What look like rivets holding the strap to the column on the Ignition switch, are bolts without heads if I remember correctly. I was able to get a good visegrip on them and turn them like bolts.
