1991 Festiva doesn't start anymore

I have a beautiful '91 Festiva L that I was almost ready to take back on the road after some major repairs, but then got busy at the end of my school year. I had it running perfectly fine after replacing the fuel pump a while back, but now it won't even catch. It's getting fuel, fuses are all good, I've checked pretty much everything I can think of. It was outside, if that means anything.

People sometimes report problems with the little door on the air intake (MAF?) getting stuck. It controls a switch. Otherwise I'd check for spark (ignition components and wiring).
