  • AC Compressor

The AC compressor went out on my 88 carby, and I’m having trouble finding a replacement.

Everything I’m seeing online and at the chain parts stores shows “Dealer AC with 6-groove pulley”. I’ve never seen one of these cars with anything but 2 v-belts.

Does anyone know who carries the correct part? Or what the part number is?

    Thanks!

Denso 10P13A? looks like the one in my 91. I just checked rockauto, I don't have the part in hand to verify one hundred percent.

There are at least three different AC setups- factory installed, dealer installed, and aftermarket. If you post a couple pics of the compressor we can ID it.

Sorry for the delay on this. Here’s a pic of the compressor.

I searched all over and the only one that I came across was a remanufactured one selling for over $400.

I used to have several of those compressors but I sold or gave them all away except one good one that I had kept for a backup.
It has the clutch but you will have to take use the manifold from your old one. IT has been sealed since I took it off.

The compressor on Trixie is still working good so I will let you have this one for cost of shipping to you.

If jrclark32 passes on this, I'd like to be next in line.
