Electrical Promblem

This is gonna sound weired, but when i press the brakes it causes the dash light to come on even with the car off. Put a stereo in it today and works fine but when i press the breaks it Curt's it off and resets the system. Never had anything like this before. Any suggestions, maybe a short. The car has been sitting for 6 years, i got it out of my dad's yard and started fixing it up now driving it as a daily driver.

Try moving the radio ground to the actual chasis ground(if you used the ground in the radio plug)

Still does it, Iam taking the entire dash apart, because been sitting for so long there could be alot of problem with the wiring. i posted another blog about how to take the dash apart correctly
