  • What connector is this?

I pulled my dash off and found this dangling, to the right of the steering collum.

Its a 4 pin female and it had a male end plugged into it, with no connectors. Did i rip the two apart? I cant find the other end..

i don't recognize the connector, maybe something to do with a factory cruise control set-up or maybe even A/C???

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I mainly wanted to know if i axedentally unplugged it.

But if its an un-used connector i have no idea what it would be for. two of the wires are preety heavy duty for a clock. it comes out of the harness that feeds the instrument cluster.

the clock would have the opposite of that connector. I dont think you unplugged it, I have some dangling unconnected too.

Maybe...the blower motor resistor connector...I see the tail end of the blower motor in the back ground.
My '92 ford manual shows the three blue wires with a white, red and yellow trace being used for the resistor. the forth wire on my book is black..yours is yellow.
Never had any reason to be in that far...will be later this afternoo when i fish my anttena wire in....let you know what i find.

Maybe rear wiper or rear defrost?

not the blower motor resistor, just double checked that.

rear wiper/def is part of the dash harness

Have the same....taped to the flat steel member...right side of the steering column 'u' bracket...they go no where.
