Aspire parking light/blinker

Ok, when I turn on the parking lights, the corner lens does not light up, but the headlights do, very dimly. I thought, like on my 95 Escort, that the corner lens would light up? Then, when I use the blinker, it flashes bright white. THe corner lens are white, not orange also. Same as the small lights in the bumper.

Any ideas? This doesnt seem right.

They share a common ground G101 it looks to be by the right front fender.They are calling it a joint connector that has a bunch of stuff tied into it 5 wires that branch off to different splices.4 black wires and 1 gray.

Im still trying to figure out how its supposed to be, though. The way mine is is not correct?

urs is correct the parking lights are inside the headlight.the corner lenses are only used as turn signals

^^^ correct. Aspires have 'city lights', small separate bulbs in the headlamps. The headlamp isn't coming on dim, its a whole separate bulb, designed to give some minor illumination. The corner lamps, as stated above, are turn signals only. Caught me of guard as well when I bought an Aspire new in '94!
