  • Cabin venting

    My car is a 91 Festiva L.

Is there some way for air inside the cabin to vent out so that the windows don't fog up (other than opening the windows)? I see some sort of duct just outside the hatch seal, but I don't know where it leads to.

    Thanks,
    Nat

on the heater control theres a lever for letting outside air inside the car to help prevent the windows from fogging up

other than that i don't know what else you can do

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Yes, that lets fresh air in, but not out. I find that if I open the rear windows, then all the foggyness goes away. But I shouldn't have to open windows for that. I suspect that most cars have some sort of venting that lets air out, but maybe not in?

Incidentally, I looked at my heater control box that you are referring to last night and I found that the sponge gasket around the port to the outside just was not there anymore! That explains why my wife's feet are always cold :?
