  • high speedproblem

My 1989 festiva 89,000 mi developed a run problem on the turnpike. The car srarted to slow down as is the case with a plugged fuel filter, or cloged exhaust. It will rev up only when I pump the accelerator. I have changed the fuel filter and checked the exhausty. There doesn,t appear to be an an adjustment for the idle circuit for flow. But the problem is still arround. any ideas?

leave the night stick on the belt pal... check ur spark/ignition, check your fuel flow, check ur air filter and then check ur exhaust.
