    Auto belt door latches

    The 90+ US cars have switches in the latches for the auto belts, right? how do they work? is it a switched ground?

    yes, grounded when door is open. LG/Red = driver's side, BL/Org = pass side

    i'm using them for my alarm system (converted car to manual belts)

      thats what i was thinking. i have manual belts so i could use the door latch signal as a more reliable source for my alarm and other things.
