Lugnuts

Can't get them off my alloy wheels for nothing :evil:

Going to a shop to see if they can do it without breaking anything or scratching my near mint alloys.

What's the lugnut torque on:

Steel wheels?
Alloy wheels?

Frustrated in Iowa and sick of winter :twisted:

I had to use a breaker bar and have someone hold the brakes so the wheel wouldn't turn.

5 foot breaker bar is what it took!! Man I am so glad I didn't have to start torching or something crazy like that.

Lugnut torgue is 65 to 84 BTW!! I think I can remember 69 from here on out!

I used a breaker once and had to hit it with a 13 lb. sledge to break them loose .
