Festiva to Aspire trans?

    Festiva to Aspire trans?

    Im sure this has been gone over a million times, but is this possible? My trans is stuck in reverse, and its not the shifter. When I get under the car, and move the rod where it goes into the trans it just flops around. No resistance, other than the rubber bellows.

    And, I seem to not be able to find an Aspire trans around here (Michigan) but there seems to be a few Festiva transes...Can I swap between the two?

    As he was perfectly drifting past the apex I looked at Quasimofo and yelled "You know, I have never been in a rollover accident before!"... I think it all went pretty well after that.

    same for same, both will swap into either car. the festy trans has better cruising RPM, and the aspire trans will give slightly better accel, but a higher cruise speed.
    Trees aren't kind to me...

    currently: 2 88Ls (Scrappy and Jersey), 88LX, 90L(Pepe), 91L, 91GL (Skippy) 93 GL Sport (the Mighty Favakk), 94 (Bruce) & 95 Aspire SEs, 97 Aspire (The Joker),
    94 Justy 4WD, 87 Fiero GT, plus 2 parts cars. That's my fleet.

            There are three Aspires with Manual 5 speed trans in Hammond Indiana Pick N Pull.

                  Well, how much do they charge for a trans, and also, do you know the mileage of any of the cars?
