If you have the fuel filter already, go ahead and replace it, it is good maintenance. If you still have the problem, get a "borrow me " gauge from autozone, and check the fuel pressure at the rail.

Have you checked out the underlined parts? I would not think EGR if you have no codes, though...

The underlined parts, as in if the fuel filter does not help, see if the fuel rail is getting enough pressure, etc..........

let me know when u find out im having the same thing happen on a 92 auto trans and a 93 manual trans
im thinking Idle Air Controller or leak from air box to intake from what i read in another thread

double check the vac line to you're governor (trans) look for cracking... also, if you can, install a vac gauge to your car and take notes.

^Seems most dont post feedback to what worked out for each problem they have is all I was stating in that comment. lol.

because the way you ask it is like they are working on it and you want to know when they figure it out.
Being 2 years old I doubt they are still working on the issue so if you just pm the original poster or start your own thread you have a better chance of getting an answer.

Would like to commend you on searching though.
