  • Head bolt torque amount

    firstly i have done a fair amount of head work on other cars so experience isnt the problem... what i need to know is the amount of torque for the head bolts on a 93 wa b3 (1.3ltr) Can any one help me????

    56-60 ftlbs in two equal steps working from middle towards the outside

          There is a proper sequence for that, I know the haynes has it, includes what ftlbs to torque to in the intermediate step, if I could find my haynes......

              yeppers, sounds about right, but there is an actual pattern for the sequence that they should be tightened in....
