instrument cluster

own a 90 festiva, manual transmission. needed an instrument cluster. located one out of a 89 auto transmission. this one has a tachometer and the gauges are configured different than mine. mine didn't have a tachometer. will it plug right in or will i have to modify it to make it work in my car? also needed a drive gear assembly that goes in the transmission and connects to the speedometer cable. will the one from the 89 auto transmission work in my 90 with manual transmission? any info on this subject would be great! thanks.

Look at Wil's articles for a link for changing the instrument cluster, it will plug right in, you will need to re-route the speedo cable.

I'm not sure about the drive gear assembly, I *think* I read somewhere here that the manual and auto are different.
