Not hard at all, the first side might take a bit longer, when you get it together, you will go "oh, okay", and the other side will be a piece of cake........
Humans shouldn't be mechanics, we could train monkeys to do the work ......

The test for worn CV joints is to take the car to an empty parking lot and turn slowly in tight cirlces. Worn CV joints should complain.

Dis-engaging tie rods.....wil work the vast majority of times

          Pull the cotter pin
          Remove the nut.
Flip the nut over and thread back on, castle facing up.
Thread the nut so that the male thread is flush or just below flush with the face of the nut.
Tap the nut lightly with a soft mallet.
          Bingo!

A mechanic friend of mine showed me a really cool trick....has work every time since he showed me. Take the nut off the tie rod and the part of the knuckle that the tie rod stem fits through, strike it sharply with a hammer...it momentarily egg shapes the knuckle and the tie rod pops right out. He said he has done this for years because the fork tools tear up the rubber boot. I have done it 3 or 4 times with great success.

Too true about a "pickle fork", they tear up the boot quick!

Alright I ordered parts today should be able to start tearing apart Tuesday morning. Wish me luck. Between the Haynes and all of you very kind folks I think I will be able to figure it out. Thanks to you all!

This is a great technique...be careful not to strike the boot.

Alright CV axles are replaced took me a little longer than most people. About 4 hours start to finish including a break to eat and a trip to the auto store. Should have bought ball joins too those will be replaced soon. Thanks for the help all.

Wicked! I bet the second side went a lot faster. Now, anytime it needs to be done, you will probably think, "no sweat", and break your 4 hour mark by a mile!

I had the same issue, so I changed the cv's on both sides, bearings on both and seals. Got the bearings pressed as well. After that my car never had that problem again.
