I have a 92'Red Festy with EFI. Recently, it started running really rough. The mechanic tells me piston #4 is firing intermittently. I've replaced the plugs, wires distributor and run at least a gallon of injector cleaner through it. Any other ideas?

Injector cleaner doesn't really work pull the injector out and do an ohm test. It should have 14-16ohms of resistance. It might just be a weak injector. Make sure you get an o-ring kit before putting it back in, pull all the injectors and clean them with brake parts cleaner and try clean the inside the best you can, I know its hard, but usually a weak injector can do that."If you're not first you're last!" -Ricky Bobby

A quick test....while the engine is running at idle....pull the wire from each individual spark plug and the put back in place....while the wire is removed...the idel should decrease considerably the be restored while the wire is preplaced. This will locate/verify the bad cylinder.
It's important to verify that the problem is with only one cylinder. If it is not...the problem could be with the VAF or air intake system.....problems produce the symptons you describe.
Compression test would be the best.Joe Lutz
