Well, i just got it in the mail. Where do you think would be the best place to mount the outside temp sensor? Where are they on other cars?

I think they are usually mounted in front of the radiator to prevent false reading from the engine comparment heat.

I don't know if my outside temp wire will go from the dash, through the wiper firewall (may drill a small hole) and to the front of the radiator behind the bumper.... what about the front Left corner by the horn?.... any other suggestion closer to the bottom of the windshield? maybe the wiper area...

SWEET! I think i am going to hard wire the backlight (came w/ cig lighter plug in) and mount on that little 5" piece of dash trim right in the center of the vehicle at the base of the windshield... mount the wires through the firewall there so i won't have to disassemble the dash.

well, since it is 12v, i am going to cut it and attach it to my headlights (i believe red/blue wire..??) and so when i turn the lights on it the backlight will come on. The cord from the gadget to the lighter has 2 wires, one ground, one hot.
I have a tach install, and so i'll tap into the same wire that turns on my light for the tach when i turn on my headlights.
