if you are talking about the sway bar bushing where it connects at the lower control arm, they can be gotten at advance auto parts. the smoking on start up after sitting a while is possibly bad valve stem seals. the noisy engine is most likely noisy hydralic valve lifters.some one else here can fill you in about those.

I know NAPA has bushing http://www.napaonline.com
I would not drive the car until the reapirs are made on the sway bar.

The 'sewing maching' noise and burning oil....if tap..tap...tap...and not knock...knock...knock. And, if the noise and buring oil problems go together...probalbly in the valve train, a shot valve guide/seat.

it's not the control arm bushing it's the bushing on the sway bar that stabilizes the car. i can't even find one in a junk yard...

the sway bar has two different bushings, the two that connect it to the body of the car, which are availlible from festiva motor sports, and the ones that connect it to the lower control arms.

might want to check your oxygen sensor, i have read that a bad one can cause a simaliar problem, but i have never owned a running fuel injected festiva, but i am sure someone here will be able to help you diagnose the idle problem.
