Brake Master Cylinder leaking

As you can see..my brake master cylinder is leaking. I'm not sure when it started, or how to stop it(apart from replacing the whole brake master cylinder itself..which isn't too too expensive). Does anyone know if you can replace any seals or any parts which might stop this?

they can be rebuilt, but if it were me, i would just buy a rebuilt one.

Well I can get a re-manufactured one for about $75 provided I give them my old one...so I may just do that.

I changed mine out about five years ago for the same problem....I was not able to find a rebuild kit...paid less than $75 for a remanufactured unit.

Removing the reservior from the old and installing into the new can be tricky.

I would spray down the area with some brakleen before the rust sets in.

i just took out my stock Brake master cylinder and installed a 76 chevy brake master cylinder to my toyota pickup - not a bolt on but the price was right - 27$

Just replace it and make sure to clean off the fuel filter and everything that has brake fluid all over it cause brake fluid is so corrosive.

Yeah, just replace it. And as others said, clean the brake fluid off everything, my fest had a long term MC leak when i got it and everything was all corroded.
Personally I'd even replace the booster while your at it. Get a clean one off an aspire.
