Well.. I got a new oil pump for my B6. But theres no dipstick tube. How do I get the dipstick tube out of the old pump and get it in the new one?

Never had a mazda tube out...however....most tube just slide/twist out....some take a little more finess than others. Some penatrating oil...heat...or...vice gribs may help...be carefull.

The hole that it goes into in the new pump is just smooth, so im assumeing its just pressed in.. But I still cant get it out.. I tried hammering on it with some steel dowel but it was just destroying it.

It is just a pressed fit. I think that I used a flat end round punch and a little heat to help coax mine out when I replaced the oil pump. I never was able to get the dipstick tube fully seated in the new oil pump and just adjusted my dipstick reading accordingly.

Tough to get out! They really get seized in there. Heat helps a little, but the oil burning off makes it even worse! I had to use Vise Grips/Hammer twisting/pounding upward on my 2 crate engines. Only thing worse was getting the threaded sleeve for the oil filter off/on.
          Much luck and patience

Yeah I'm with Miamiman on this one. I could not get the oil tube out of my old oil pump. I only tried half as hard as was suggested above, and concluded I was too likely to break it. In the end I used a different oil pump, and did not solve the problem. You should be able to get them from Mazda for any of their B6 FWD engine versions (323's or MX3's) and it will do the trick.
