Aspire brakes are bigger, and the front rotors are ventilated, when the Festiva's are not. The Aspire rear beam comes with an integrated rear sway bar and the Festiva's does not. So you have better brakes, you have slightly better handling, and as a bonus, the front bearings are easier to work on, as they are not pressed into the front rotors, like on the Festiva. That way, you don't have to take the bearings appart when you need to change rotors. One thing to note is that Aspires came with different bolt patterns (4X100), so your Festiva wheels won't fit (4X114.3) so be sure to get the Aspire wheels. The Aspire wheels are 13 inchers so they should make tire selection easier than 12" ones, if 12 inchers are hard to come by in your part of the country. The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

Nice summation pocket rocket. People do tend to pull out in front of you in a festiva. At least thats been my experience. Slow down gothguy, festivas are hard to get a hold of any more.sigpic

My question is....If he was not speeding down the road...would he feel they pulled out in front of him....or were they just making a normal manuever and he came flying up on them?"FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"

what pocket_rocket said is good, just one thing though, the bearings are still pressed into aspire hubs just like on festiva hubs. The thing that is better is that the rotors are not pressed onto the hub so you can easily change the rotor or remove the rotor to have it resurfaced without having a press.
sounds like the easiest way to fix your problem is to slow down and watch ahead...~Nate
