  • Ball joint question

    Hello all,

Is the rubber boot replacable on the ball joint of a Festiva or does the whole control arm have to be replaced.

    Thanks

I believe its the whole thing, but i'm not 100%.
I know FMS doesn't sell the joint by itself.

its all one part, you can buy it under the name of ball joint but it will still be the whole control arm. atleast where i live anyways.

if your asking juts about the BOOT, not the joint itself, yes you can replace it. I got a pair of BJ boots from NAPA, they were shot in < a year, so i got a pair from energy suspension, and they worked great while i had them on there, then i replaced the LCA's and left the boots that came with them on there, but the boots that came on the new LCA's are already about shot, so the energy susp boots will be going back on soon.
